Tree plantation is very necessary because trees provide oxygen to the environment and make the air quality. better If more trees are environment will become a planted then the world's safer place to live in. Tree plantation also reduces pollution thus making the life of future generations secure

Guava plant and lemon plant.


(1) Guava plant 

Origin: from a Guava is believed to have originated. an area extending from southern Mexico into or through Central America (Morton, 1897) The Spaniards and Portuguese are considered to be responsible for distribution of guava fruit to other parts of the world.

Scientific name: Psidium guajava

Uses in daily life. 

(i) The antioxidants and vitamins in guavas help can slow down aging of your skin, while guava leaf outract may help treat acne

ii)Guavas are one of the richest food sources of vit c. Maintaining adequate levels of this vitamin s important for protecting against illness and infections" 

(iii) Guavas are full of fiber and low in calories, meaning that they may help you feel full and and weight loss


Folklore and literature

        Gruova, Pridrum guojava, a member of Myrtaceae. 15 a common. tropical plant with a long history of usage It is used not only as food but also family traditional as folk medicine and this plant has number of medicinal properties ranging from antimicrobial to anticancer property. An added advantage is that cultivation of guava is relatively easy as it thrives in a variety of soils & adapts to different climatic conditions: the fruits are also borne fairly in a short period

        In India, one of the earnest uses of TM as cited in Rig Veda, a compilation of Hindu holy versus Traditional Medicine (TM) has played an important role- toward catening health care, expecially primary health of people residing in developing counties"; its usage, being more wide spere spread in rural areas.

(11) Lemon juice may help prevent kidney stones

(IV) Lemons are high in heart healthy vit c and several beneficial plant-compounds that may lower cholesterol

At 10:0 clock all where gathered at the venue se. SGBIT Girls Hostel, Garden The 'HO'D of the Dept. Dr. Jayshin Rudagi e-some: information about the trees xie were planting Alster gove that guava and lemon plants were planted by the students... At 10 clock programme was ended with a vote of thanks.
